BLOUNTSTOWN FIRE DEPARTMENT APPARATUS

Blountstown Fire Department operates a fleet of four trucks. Two
Class A Engines, one Brush Truck and one Rescue Truck.
Engine 7 is our First Out Engine. #7 is a 1994
Mack/Southern Coach 1000gpm pumper with a
1000 gallon poly tank.
Engine 6, a 1984 GMC/ E-One is our second out
engine. #6 Carries 1000 gallons of water and
has a 1000 gpm pump. *To be replaced in
October 2008*
Brush 8, a 1983 Chevrolet 1-1/4 ton 4X4, is
our primary brushfire truck. Equipped with
a skid unit on no-cost lease from Florida
Division of Forestry, it carries 200 gallons
of water, 10 gallons of Class A foam and
has a 20 hp Honda/Darley Davey Pump.

Rescue One is a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado
with a custom fiberglass topper and an
Extendobed slide out. R1 carries a full
compliment of hydraulic and pneumatic
rescue tools . BFD utilizes American Rescue
Genesis brand hydraulics.
