beaches of Panama City and one hour from Tallahassee, our State Capital. Our small town
sees over 20,000 cars per day through its main intersections and has nearly 3,000
permanant residents.

Blountstown Fire Department is comprised of 15 volunteers and one career firefighter
(the Fire Chief).

In 2006 Blountstown Firefighters answered 200 calls for fires, traffic accidents, ems
