During a Landing Zone Orientation,

Firefighter/EMT Jamey Shuler were
awarded a nighttime aerial tour of
Blountstown in AirHeart2 air
ambulance.
Pictured here are the remains of two mobile homes destroyed
 by tornados spawned by Hurricane Ivan on September 15,
2004.  Four people lost their lives in Calhoun County as a
result of one tornado that ripped through the Parrish Lake
Road Community.  BFD responded as mutual aid to Nettle
Ridge Fire-Rescue to the incident.
Blountstown Firefighters responded along
witn Emergystat Ambulance crews to this
motor vehicle accident on North Pear
Street in Blountstown.  The windshield of
the Chevy SUV had to be removed to free
