In one of the hardest impacts seen
by our department, the Toyota
pickup, pictured at right was
struck in the side by a Ford
Explorer, completely separating
the cab from the frame. The driver
was airlifted to a local hospital and
later recovered.

BFD Firefighters responded to a
traffic crash with entrapment on
July 6th. The passenger was
pinned from the knees down
and inverted, making this a
particularly difficult extrication.
